The local business community has made substantial donations to CFS, and without them we could not be as successful as we are. They help us with financial contributions, in-kind donations of goods and services, sponsorships of major events and employee volunteer groups. Although they are too numerous to mention, we would like to take the opportunity to thank some of our generous benefactors for their contributions.

WhiteWave Foods
Community Food Share wants to thanks WhiteWave Foods and their employees for their seemingly unending generosity.
Each year, the Colorado headquarters employees participate in the Compete to Beat Hunger Corporate Challenge. For the last 4 years, WhiteWave Foods won 1st place in the total points category!
Last year, 100 percent of WhiteWave headquarters employees donated to the corporate challenge with the company matching their contributions dollar-for-dollar. That raised enough money to provide more than 330,000 meals to local people in need.
Additionally, in year 2009, employees volunteered more than 800 hours at CFS, helping sort food in the food bank and gathering holiday donations from shoppers at area grocery stores.
The company made financial contributions to CFS as well, including sponsorship of the Tee Up Against Hunger golf tournament and the Spring Fest dinner dance.
Since 2008,WhiteWave, through Horizon Organic Dairy, has replenished our supply of milk every week! This is a commodity that is very popular with our clients.
This exemplifies the committment this company and its employees have to community involvement. We are proud to be their charity of choice. While we have many donors, few donate food, money AND volunteers! The impact WhiteWave has had on our ability to fulfill our mission is real and lasting. White Wave Soy started as a local, home grown company, with close ties to local non-profits. We have been impressed and pleased that as they grew into WhiteWave Foods, as a subsidiary of Dean Foods, the leaders and employees did not forget their roots, but have stayed supportive of the community in which they began. They have our heartfelt thanks!

Thank you, Amgen, for all you do!
Precision Plumbing and Heatinghas held a food & funds drive each winter, wherein they offer to match donations made to CFS.
Our newest corporate volunteer group is from the local Target store.Food banks are dependant on three kinds of donations: food, money and volunteer time. Our friends at Target are currently contributing ALL three!
We receive food donations from 5 Target and Super Target stores, totally over 80,000 pounds in 2009. We have recently received about $2,000 from Target's Community Engagement Fund. Three groups of Target employees have donated over 40 hours of volunteer service.
We definitely like those folks in red shirts! Thanks for all that you do for us.
